Michael Wallace is Global Market Strategist for Action Economics, LLC. Michael has over 18 years trading and analytical experience in the global financial markets. Since 2000, he served as Senior Market Strategist for the Treasury module of Standard & Poor's MMS after tenure of 5 years as the Managing Analyst of Standard & Poor's global currency product in Europe. In both capacities he was instrumental in forging market alliances, and developing actionable trading strategies that contributed to the "Best Screen-based Analytical Commentary Service" award granted to MMS for 8 straight years. Michael has published research in cooperation with the Swiss National Bank on its electronic repurchase system, and on the internet economy for "Profit & Loss" magazine. He has published over 50 articles for Business Week Online, appeared in "Blue Chip Financial Forecasts," topped the Reuters currency poll of institutional forecasters twice, and appeared as a weekly commentator on CNBC in London. He has been cited by the FT, Wall Street Journal, Reuters, Bloomberg, Associated Press, among others. Michael holds an M.B.A. from George Washington University in International Finance, and a B.A. from U.C. Davis in International Economics.
