Russell Bloom is Managing Currency Analyst, Europe for Action Economics, LLC. Previously he was a Senior Currency Analyst for Thomson Financial for two years and covered fundamental foreign exchange analysis and currency derivatives. Prior to working with Thomson he worked at MMS International as a currency analyst for a period of five years and was a member of the team that saw MMS win FX Week's "Best Screen Based Analytical Service". Russell entered the field of market analysis after enjoying a six year stint at Bank of Tokyo Mitsubishi as a market maker and a sales trader in London. He also holds a Diploma in Business and Finance.
