Elisabeth Weise is a Senior European Economist for Action Economics, LLC. Previously she held the role of Scandinavian Economist on the European Sovereign Fixed Income desk at Informa Global Markets in London, and performed a similar role for Standard and Poor’s MMS prior to that. In this capacity she was responsible for generating thorough analysis and economic forecasts for Sweden, Norway and Denmark, and providing timely market commentary for the region. She also edited daily European fixed income news briefings. Prior to this, Elisabeth held an analyst position within the Corporate Finance team at UBS in New York. In this role, she focused on the Latin American region, adding on to her wider market experience. She holds a M.Sc. in Business Administration and Economics from Uppsala University (Sweden).
