Katherine J. Beattie CFA is Senior Technical Analyst for Action Economics, LLC covering Canadian Dollar cross rates. Prior to joining Action Economics Katherine worked for 15 years at MMS International as the Senior Technical Analyst covering the Canadian dollar, Canadian stock and bond markets. Previous work experience was with ScotiaMcLeod in their Research Department. A past President of the Canadian Society of Technical Analysts, Katherine remains involved in the technical analysts community in Toronto. She appears on ROBTV, CP24 and is often quoted in Reuters, Bloomberg and in the Globe and Mail. Katherine graduated from Queen's University in 1987 with an Honours BA in economics.
