Deborah L. Riner is the Latin American Economist for Action Economics, LLC, specializing in the economy of Mexico. Previously she was the Chief Economist of the American Chamber of Commerce in Mexico City between 1993 and 2015, and before that worked for Bankers Trust in Mexico and Continental Bank in Chicago. Deborah is a frequent speaker on the political and economic landscape in Mexico and closely tracks the Mexican economy, and participates in the monthly surveys conducted by Banco de Mexico, Hacienda, and Latin Consensus. Deborah has a Ph.D. in politics from Princeton University and an M.A. and B.A. in Political Science from the University of Delaware.
